Frequently Asked Questions

The calculator starts showing a BPM after just 2 taps, but accuracy improves with more taps. It uses up to the last 8 taps and averaging the intervals between them for the best result.
If you stop tapping for more than 3 seconds, the tool resets itself. This is intentional — it means you can start a fresh count for a new song without clicking Reset manually.
There is no hard limit — the tool calculates BPM directly from your tap intervals. Practically speaking, you can detect anything from very slow tempos (30 BPM) up to very fast ones (300+ BPM) depending on how fast you can tap.
